Watercolor & Gold Foil
This is my favorite wedding invite suite I've have done to date, and not just because it was for my wedding. I created the background with watercolors - first I created a of gradient of purple, rose and pink and then on a separate sheet I painted some flowers. After scanning in, I layered the two files in Photoshop and played with the opacities until I got the right softness and saturation. I used that background and a variation for almost all pieces - the rsvp, reception invite, accommodations and escort cards. Boxcar Press printed the large invite, rsvp, reception and accommodations card on Mohawk superfine eggshell 100, white paper digitally and then with gold foil.
